Our Program
We currently offer classes from Kindergarten through the fourth grade.
Our Teachers
The academic teachers at ECSP are certified teachers and are born-again believers who are in agreement with Effort Baptist Church’s statement of faith. Many of our enrichment and resource teachers have college degrees in the areas for which they are serving our children. Our faculty is dedicated to helping each student develop toward positive spiritual, mental, and physical growth.
School Curriculum
At our school, we feel it is important to integrate scriptural principles into areas of subject matter. The Bible – God’s Word –is purposefully integrated into our curriculum as well as, being a dynamic course of study by itself. It is our goal to teach our students the knowledge and problem solving skills necessary for functioning in today’s world.
We believe God is not only interested in the academic goals themselves but, also, in the ways we reach these goals. We believe in the importance of living the Christian life and being a Godly example to our students. Our methods should pattern themselves after our Lord, which include: encouraging, training, disciplining, reproofing, correcting, and exhorting. Our teachers use a variety of teaching techniques to address students’ varying learning styles. Lessons are presented in ways to meet the needs of the auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners. Our textbooks are chosen after careful consideration and evaluation, and they are provided for all students.
